Brief history

Success built with time and passion

Grupo Jadran is a family-owned business founded in 1995 and based in Panama. Our fleet is dedicated to fishing tropical tuna species in the Eastern Pacific and delivering frozen tuna catch in port to canneries. Our goal is to keep an innovative attitude to preserve our ecosystem and deliver our clients a sustainable and transparent catch. Our years of knowledge and experience have allowed us to modernize our purse seiner fleet through innovative construction to compete in the most demanding markets worldwide.

From a single old vessel we have built a fleet of three modern purse seiners

Experience and knowledge over time has taught us how to improve the operation of our vessels, while consumer and the market demands have directed us to innovate our techniques to catch and store fish without compromising quality or time. We have forecast the construction of our vessels and improved our design year over year with experience and emerging technologies.

Our fleet consists of three modern purse seiners of which two were built in Spain and one in Chile with an average age of less than 10 years. Our vessels are equipped with high-end deep-freezing technology to freeze our catch in the shortest possible time and cold storage capacity chain to assure premium quality to our buyers.
